REDDINGTON, Ind. – The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) plans to close U.S. 31, just north of Reddington, on or after Monday, March 31, to complete a small structure rehabilitation project in Jackson County.
The closure will take place about 6.7 miles north of U.S. 50. between East County Roads 1200N and 1150N. and is expected to be complete in mid-May, weather permitting.
Signage will be placed in the area before the start of construction. During the closure, motorists should use the official detour route which follows U.S. 50 to State Road 11 to State Road 46 to U.S. 31.
INDOT reminds drivers to slow down, use caution, and avoid distractions when traveling in and near work zones. Schedules are subject to change.
