WHITELAND, Ind. – K1 Speed, an American-based go-kart racetrack franchise, has purchased Whiteland Raceway Park, the oldest operating go-kart track in the U.S.
Now known as K1 Circuit Whiteland, this venue will provide four distinct karting experiences, including an Arrive and Drive option, allowing guests to race on the renowned circuit in high-performance go-karts.
In conjunction with the acquisition, K1 Speed has announced plans to launch a new Paddock Lounge, which will offer food and beverage services to its visitors.
David Danglard, CEO and founder of K1 Speed, said: “It’s an honor to take over the reins of Whiteland Raceway Park. This venue is special, having been established in 1958, only two years after the invention of the go-kart.”
