MUNCIE, Ind. – Landmark Columbus Foundation announces its acclaimed exhibition American Modern: Architecture, Community, Columbus, Indiana has been installed at Ball State University’s Estopinal College of Architecture and Planning (CAP) Gallery.
This move marks a significant step in fostering engagement with future designers, planners, and architects while continuing to celebrate the city’s legacy of modernist design and innovation.
First on view at the Columbus Area Visitor Center, the American Modern exhibition features 12 large-scale photographs by internationally acclaimed photographer Iwan Baan alongside design work by Studio Lin.
Through these newly commissioned images, the exhibition looks at Columbus’ modernist design heritage, highlighting its role as a premier center for design excellence in the United States.
Ball State University’s Estopinal College of Architecture and Planning has long been a leader in design education, providing students with immersive learning experiences that connect theory with real-world application.
