EDINBURGH, Ind. – The Edinburgh Police Department and Edinburgh Fire and Rescue responded Sunday to a mobile home fire at 433 Piatts Trailer Ct. The renters were not home at the time of the blaze. Five cats perished.
The mobile home was deemed a total loss. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
One officer was treated for smoke inhalation, but no other injuries were reported.
Assisting agencies were the German Township, Amity Volunteer, Nineveh Township, and Trafalgar Fire Departments.
