FRANKLIN, Ind. – The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) is scheduled to begin Phase 1 of a six-phase intersection improvement project on U.S. 31 in Franklin on or after Tuesday, April 1.
Bridge rehabilitation and box culvert replacement will begin over the Canary Ditch between Acorn Drive and Schoolhouse Road in Franklin.

Phase 2 should begin in late April and will include intersection modifications on U.S. 31 at Ninevah Road and Franklin Lakes Boulevard. This work is anticipated to be completed in late November. INDOT will provide additional information regarding traffic impacts at a later date.
