COLUMBUS, Ind. – The Columbus Parks and Recreation Department is alerting residents that many sections of the People Trail System might be flooding and to use caution when walking or biking.
There is high water across many areas of the People Trail. Sections prone to flooding may be inaccessible over the next several days. If portions of the Trail have to be closed, they will reopen after the floodwater has receded and crews have cleaned the mud and debris left behind.
Due to heavy rains predicted for the area through the weekend, Mill Race and Noblitt Parks may be closed at any time due to high water.
