FRANKLIN, Ind. – The City of Franklin has several flooded areas. The Franklin Police Department has asked residents to avoid these sections of the city and Johnson County.
Do not attempt to travel through high water or move around barricades. Officials remind parents not to let children swim or play in flood waters.
Many roads are closed, including US 31 between County Road 650S and State Road 252.
If you need to get to Edinburgh or southern Indiana from Franklin, motorists need to use I-65.
