COLUMBUS, Ind. – A late spring storm blew through Columbus and Bartholomew County on Sunday afternoon and caused power to be lost to over 2000 Duke Energy customers.
The utility company stated that a total of over 2600 residences were impacted by the power outage. The cause was said to be fallen trees.
The outages began at around 5:30 p.m. and power was eventually restored to all affected Duke Energy customers by 11 p.m. on Sunday.
