COLUMBUS, Ind. – A Columbus teen tried to push a shopping cart that carried $3,100 in merchandise out of Walmart without paying, police said.
Authorities say Gage R. Janusch, 19, placed 178 items in a shopping cart and then exited the Columbus store around 10 a.m. Monday.
Janusch was arrested on felony theft charges and transported to the Bartholomew County Jail.
