JENNINGS CO., Ind. – A North Vernon woman is facing battery and drug charges after allegedly attacking a man with a knife.
Jennings County deputies say the male victim gave Shi A. Schildknecht, 27, a ride when she cut him with a knife. Schildknecht then hopped out of the car and ran away.
The woman was located by officers in another vehicle that was trying to leave the area.
Police say Schildknecht was in possession of syringes and drug paraphernalia.
Investigators are still trying to figure out what led to the alleged attack.
