INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Two Bartholomew County farms and one Jackson County farm were honored with a Hoosier Homestead award Friday.
The original Speaker Lane Farm has been in operation since 1908 and was recognized for over 100 years of family farm ownership. The Glenn and Nellie Glick farm was honored for over 150 years and has been in operation since 1846. In Jackson County, the Wischmeier/Wehmiller farm was awarded for over 100 years of family farm ownership.
