GREENWOOD, Ind. – One person was jailed after a shooting in Greenwood late Saturday afternoon. The victim is listed in serious, but stable condition.
Law enforcement received a call at 4:09 p.m. about someone who had apparently been shot in the 1200 block of Wood Creek Drive, just off of County Line Road and Peterman Road, per the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office.
The individual who was wounded was taken to IU Health Methodist Hospital via White River Fire Department EMS/Ambulance. A person of interest is in custody and was transported to the sheriff’s office. No residents in the area were endangered because of the incident.
The shooting is a working incident as additional information comes available it will be released, per Johnson County Sheriff Duane Burgess.
