EDINBURGH, Ind. – The Town of Edinburgh is holding a Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony for the Edinburgh Water Treatment Plant on Wednesday, May 22, at 10 a.m. The public is welcome to attend the celebration.
The Water Department staff will lead tours of the new facility from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Hamburgers and hotdogs will be served.
The Edinburgh Water Treatment Plant can now collect, treat, and distribute 1,000 gallons of water per minute and up to 2.8 million gallons per day.
The all-Indiana project was designed by Wessler Engineering in Indianapolis and constructed by Graves Construction Services in Switz City. Peerless Midwest in Tipton drilled the wells.
The ribbon-cutting celebration is at 317 N. Main St., on May 22.
