FRANKLIN, Ind. – The Johnson County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a convicted sex offender. After a Johnson County jury convicted David Bailey of sexual misconduct with a minor, Superior Court 3 Judge Douglas Cummins issued a No Bond warrant for his arrest.
Bailey failed to appear for his trial and the fugitive is now facing up to 12 years in prison.
Anyone with information about where Bailey might be is encouraged to contact the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office at 911 or the Crime Tip Line at 317-346-4654.
He is not believed to be armed but as a convicted felon he should be approached only by law enforcement officers.
Johnson County Prosecutor Lance Hamner said, “I hope anyone who knows where David Bailey is will assist Sheriff Duane Burgess and his team in bringing this sex offender to justice.”
