BARGERSVILLE, Ind. – Applications are now live for 2025 board and commission openings in Bargersville. The town is searching for members for eight different boards and commissions.
The deadline to submit your application is December 1.
Along with the completed application, submit a letter of interest and resume that includes education, degrees, majors, minors, and certifications on your resume.

Current openings and qualifications are listed below:
- Board of Zoning Appeals (two board members, 4-year term)
- Must be a Bargersville resident and one of the board positions must be a member of the Bargersville Plan Commission.
- Economic Development Commission Board (three board members, 1-year term)
- Must have knowledge and experience in economic development and related activities in the district and reside within Bargersville.
- Metropolitan Board of Police Commissioners (one board member, 3-year term)
- Must have knowledge and experience in police matters and related activities in the district and reside within Bargersville.
- Parks and Recreation Board (one board member, 4-year term)
- Must be a Bargersville resident.
- Plan Commission (one board member, 4-year term)
- Must list political party; and be a resident of Bargersville or an owner of real property located in an area of Bargersville.
- Redevelopment Authority Board (three board members, 1-year term)
- Must have knowledge and experience in redevelopment and related activities in the district and reside within Bargersville.
- Riverfront District Board (two board members, 1-year term)
- Must have knowledge and experience in the riverfront district and related activities and reside within Bargersville.
- Storm Water Board (one board member, 4-year term)
- Must have knowledge and experience in stormwater and related activities and reside within Bargersville.
