SEYMOUR, Ind. – The Jackson County United Way (JCUW) has announced that it will be holding Community Conversations twice a month beginning in April and continuing through December.
The purpose of these discussions is to create a safe space where people in the community can come together to talk about their aspirations, their concerns, and how they want their community to move forward. JCUW will release the findings in the spring of 2026.
“We hope to learn what aspirations and concerns Jackson County community members have. We want to be able to share our findings with those that can help Jackson County United Way take action so all can thrive,” said Maci Baurle, JCUW Executive Director.
The first session of Community Conversations is April 9, at the City of Seymour Council Chambers, 301-309 N. Chestnut St., from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Dinner is provided. The second installment is on April 23, at First Financial Bank, 1130 Tipton St. in Seymour, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Again, dinner is provided.
