SEYMOUR, Ind. – The Seymour Police Department (SPD) released information Saturday about a drug bust that its Interdiction and Patrol Divisions participated in on March 8. They had received information about possible narcotics activity occurring within a residence in Village Green Trailer Park.
Officers conducted a “stop and knock” investigation at the trailer and spoke with men. While talking with these individuals, they say they developed more reasons to believe that there was illegal activity within the dwelling. As the investigation progressed, SPD was granted consent to search the home.
Over 100 grams of methamphetamine, fentanyl, marijuana, prescription medications, pills, scales, a large amount of US currency, false government identifications, and other drug-related items were allegedly found.
