COLUMBUS, Ind. — Two people were injured Monday in an accident on northbound U.S. 31, near Northgate Drive around 3:45 p.m.
Bartholomew County Sheriff’s deputies say, a pickup truck driven by Ruby Eagleton was switching lanes and entered the left lane in front of a car driven by Carlos Morales. Morales was unable to stop and hit the rear of the pickup truck.
Eagleton, and a male juvenile passenger, were treated at Columbus Regional Health. Morales declined treatment at the scene, but was cited for license violations.
