COLUMBUS, Ind. — An Indianapolis man is facing charges after a dispute in a restaurant drive-through over the weekend.
Columbus police responded to the 600 block of Third Street around 2 a.m. Saturday, and found Luis Mata, 20, out of his car and beating on the door of the restaurant door because he was upset about his order.
As police spoke with Mata they smelled the strong odor of an alcoholic beverage. After failing several field sobriety tests, he provided a breath sample that tested .208 percent blood alcohol level.
Mata was taken to the Bartholomew County Jail.
