AMITY, Ind. — A Franklin woman suffered minor injuries in a single car accident Tuesday around 8 a.m. A report from the Johnson County Sheriff’s Department says Jamie Thompson, 19, was southbound on U.S. 31 near County Road 250 South when she drove off the left side of the road. Thompson overcorrected, lost control and struck a dirt embankment. Witnesses to the crash confirmed she was the only person in the vehicle and seemingly drove off the edge for no apparent reason.
Thompson was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
