COLUMBUS, Ind. — Officials have established a foundation to benefit projects in 12 parks maintained by Bartholomew County. The county reached a deal with The Heritage Fund to manage tax-deductible gifts and donations.
Donors can commit funds to honor a cause or person, as a memorial, or directed to a specific park or project. Funding decisions will be made by the park board. The park board consists of Bob Harden, president; Jim Mahoney, vice president; Nancy Hoeltke, secretary; Dave Apple, treasurer; plus members Evelyn Pence, Dennis Pierce and Kris Medic.
