INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — From the early days on the campaign trail Donald Trump has made it clear that the 1,000 Carrier jobs would not to go Mexico if he were president. Thursday, sources say, Trump will announce the Carrier jobs will stay in Indiana.
Officials from the transition team and Carrier have confirmed President-elect Donald Trump and Vice President-elect Mike Pence will make the announcement at the Carrier facility in Indianapolis.
Reports indicate the Trump/Pence administration is expected to reaffirm their commitment to reduce regulation, make the country more business friendly and overhaul the tax code.
