FRANKLIN, Ind. — Alcohol is being blamed for a crash in Franklin Wednesday night.
Authorities say John Vermeulen, 51,of Indianapolis, was traveling west on State Road 44 when he lost control and struck a guardrail.
Vermeulen suffered a minor head injury, police said.
He was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated.
