TRAFALGAR, Ind. — Diabetes is suspected in contributing to the cause of a Johnson County traffic accident Tuesday, around 4 p.m.
Johnson County Doug Cox says Ray Albright, 84, of Nashville, told police he passed out due to a diabetes-related condition, and ran off the road. Albright’s car drove off County Road 500W near Lowe Drive, and struck a utility pole and mailbox. Passenger, Virginia Albright, was transported to a local hospital with a chest injury.
Johnson County REMC was called to replace the utility pole.
