COLUMBUS, Ind. — A Columbus man is in jail after stealing money from a local bar during a special event.
Columbus police were called to the Cozy Lounge on shortly before 1 a.m. Wednesday, and were told a suspect, later identified as Clinton Mings, 26, was caught on surveillance taking prize money for a “Beer Pong” game, and also stole some money that was placed on the bar by a patron.
Mings had left the establishment but was caught a short time later during a traffic stop. Mings has been charged with two counts of theft.
