COLUMBUS, Ind. — A Cummins Inc. employee has been selected to serve in the Holcomb administration.
Global security manager, Brian Langley, has been appointed the new director of the Indiana Department of Homeland Security. From 2005 to 2009, Langley served as the U.S. assistant chief of protocol at the White House under the Bush-Cheney administration.
“Safety is a driving priority for me,” said Holcomb. “Bryan brings a wealth of experience from the federal and corporate sectors to serve Hoosiers in this role, and I look forward to working closely with him to ensure our state is ready for whatever challenges lie ahead.”
Holcomb also named the executive director of statewide security for Ivy Tech Community College as commissioner of the Indiana Department of Correction.
