FRANKLIN, Ind. — Johnson County had the 10th best unemployment rate in the state for November, coming in at 3.2 percent. The Indiana Department of Workforce Development reports there are 76,784 jobs in the area.
Colleges, universities and professional schools reported the largest gain in Indiana with 10.08 percent uptick, followed by educational services with a gain of 9.47 percent for the month. The retail sector hit the third spot with an increase of 9.19 percent for November.
