INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Hoosiers are getting a glimpse at what the new Interstate 69 will look like. The Indianapolis to Evansville project was unveiled to a few hundred people earlier this week.
It is now known that work in Johnson County will not happen this year and that INDOT is purchasing property locally. A stretch of the highway between Johnson and Morgan County is expected to cost about $1.5 billion.
