COLUMBUS, Ind. – Although he announced his intentions late last spring, local attorney Scott Andrews made it official on Wednesday by filing the formal paperwork to be a GOP candidate for Judge of Bartholomew County Superior Court 2 in the primary election on May 5.
Andrews released a statement saying, “In my 20 years of being an attorney, I have served as a prosecutor, public defender, and actively in private practice. I’ve represented many local clients and businesses and have experience in nearly every area of the law. I’ve tried to treat every case, every client, and every other attorney with the utmost respect and integrity.”
The Andrews family has lived in Bartholomew County for over 100 years. “I was born and raised here, I developed my legal practice here, and now I am raising my children here,” said Andrews.
He concluded, “It would be the greatest honor of my life to serve this great community as Judge.”
