NASHVILLE, Ind. — Officials now believe a New Year’s Eve death in Brown County was because of a drug overdose. Brown County Sheriff’s deputies found Michael O’Harra, 38, in his home on Beech Tree Road after his mother requested they perform a welfare check.
O’Harra was found face down on the floor in the living room with a syringe containing a substance in it. Deputies estimated he may have been dead for 18 hours.
A toxicology report is expected to be available by the end of the month. O’Harra leaves behind his parents, four children, and his fiancée.
