GREENWOOD, Ind. — Johnson County Sheriff Doug Cox says driver fatigue could have been the cause of an accident just before midnight Wednesday.
Grant Goodwine, 32, of Dayton, Ohio, was approaching County Line Road in Greenwood on State Road 37, travelling at 55 mph, when he hit the back of a car driven by Edward Blue, 23, of Danville, Illinois. Goodwine told police the signal was green as he approached the intersection. Witnesses told police before the crash, Goodwine was swerving and appeared to be fighting windy conditions.
Goodwine was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
