GREENWOOD, Ind. — Johnson County Sheriff Doug Cox says his deputies are investigating multiple reports of thefts from vehicles in the White River Township area. The robberies have occurred near County Roads 600N, 700N, Saddle Club Road and Wakefield Addition.
Three guns have been reported stolen along with electronics, purses and money. Detectives have surveillance video from one of the thefts and are analyzing it to identify those responsible.
Sheriff Cox advises residents to take steps to safeguard property. Lock car doors, remove weapons overnight, keep valuables out of open view, and use security lights or video surveillance when possible.
