COLUMBUS, Ind. — Vice president of the Cummins Inc. global supply chain, Lisa Yoder, 53, lost her eight-year battle with cancer on Monday.
Cummins Inc. Chairman and CEO Tom Linebarger released a statement to employees that read in part, “I am deeply grateful to have been part of her remarkable life. She was a great leader, full of positive energy, ideas and a relentless commitment to her team.”
Yoder had been a Cummins Inc. employee since her graduation from the University of Michigan in 1987 with a degree in metallurgical engineering. She is survived by her husband, three children and her mother.
The company website says Yoder also sponsored Cummins’ Environmental Challenge, a program that leverages the skills and interests of employees to generate environment benefits for communities around the world. Since 2009, the program has engaged a record number of employees and delivered measurable environmental benefits.
