WHITELAND, Ind. — An Indianapolis man was arrested after being clocked for speeds at 100 mph, and crashing his vehicle on Interstate 65 over the weekend.
Johnson County deputies began pursuing Taylor Bell, 29, on northbound I-65, near the Whiteland exit around 6:20 a.m., Saturday. As police closed-in on Bell, he drove off the right side of the roadway, struck a guardrail, and came to a stop. When police approached Bell he appeared to be intoxicated.
Bell was not injured, but police did transport him to a local hospital for a blood draw. The accident report and toxicology information will be forwarded to the Johnson County prosecutor. This is an ongoing investigation.
