WHITELAND, Ind. — An early morning car breakdown led to the arrest of a Kentucky woman for felony neglect in Johnson County on Thursday, around 3:30 a.m.
Johnson County Sheriff Doug Cox says deputies found three occupants in a vehicle parked in the 1300 block of East Worthsville Road. They told police they were waiting on a mechanic to help put a new belt on the car.
The deputy asked for and received identification from all three occupants and did a warrant search. One person, Natasha Homeister, 26, of Nashville, was wanted for an outstanding warrant in Bullitt County, Kentucky. She is being held in Johnson County Jail for Kentucky authorities.
