COLUMBUS, Ind. — The annual meeting of the Bartholomew County Extension Board and the Bartholomew County Soil and Water Conservation District was held Thursday and several local people were honored.
Brian Shrayer received the Gilman O’Neal Conservation award for decades of conservation improvements and pioneering no-till practices in the county. The Bartholomew County outstanding Service to Extension Award went to Hope resident Glenn Keller for a lifetime of service as an educator. The Outstanding Service Award was earned by Larry Speeker, who has assisted the local 4-H program in a variety of ways.
