EDINBURGH, Ind. – Authorities at the Edinburgh Police Department say officers responded to Indiana Premium Outlets in Edinburgh, on Saturday morning, after receiving a report of a suicidal male.
The individual’s truck was located at the outlet mall, and as officers approached they reportedly found a deceased male with an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound. The man was later identified as 26-year-old Patrick Smith.
The investigation of the supposed suicide remains ongoing between the Edinburgh Police Department and the Bartholomew County Coroners Office.
