HOPE, Ind. – The Hope Volunteer Fire Department (HVFD) was dispatched to a possible combine fire just west of Hope on Friday evening. The call came in just before 6 p.m. and emergency crews responded within two minutes of the 911 call being received.
The blaze was under control within eight minutes. HVFD says the fire was contained to the engine compartment of the combine and no injuries to the operator of the combine or firefighters were reported.
The Clifford Fire Department and Hope Police Department were also called to the scene.
