FRANKLIN, Ind. — An Indianapolis woman has been arrested after being accused of sending narcotics into the Johnson County Jail. Police allege Karen Fellers, 50, conspired with two inmates to send the drug, Suboxone, in a Christmas card. Police recovered the drugs on December 28.
Detectives investigated Fellers and confirmed that she was prescribed Suboxone. They also reviewed recordings of prisoner phone calls and concluded she did smuggle four strips of the drug into the jail via the card. The Johnson County prosecutor’s office has filed felony trafficking charges against Fellers.
