HOPE, Ind. — The Main Street of HOPE board of directors has appointed Susan Thayer Fye as the part-time executive director. Main Street of HOPE is a community organization dedicated to the revitalization of the Hope Town Square.
Fye is a 1971 graduate of Hauser High School, has a degree in accounting and a Master’s degree in business from Indiana University, and has held positions at Duke Energy and Columbus Regional Health. For the last 35 years she has bought and sold real estate and rented apartments. She lives in the Shaefer Lake area.
Currently, Fye serves on the Bartholomew County Sheriff’s Merit Board and is the public information officer for the Bartholomew County Landlord’s Association. She has worked as a member of the Columbus Board of Public Works and Safety, the Columbus Redevelopment Commission, Columbus Downtown Inc., and as a volunteer with the Yellow Trail Museum and Columbus Arts Council.
