NORTH VERNON, Ind. — North Vernon Police nabbed a suspected heroin dealer during a traffic stop Wednesday.
Around 10:25 a.m., officers stopped Jerod Palmer, 24, of North Vernon, and a police canine gave a positive indication of narcotics in the vehicle. The car was searched and law enforcement found heroin, paraphernalia and items used to package and sell drugs.
Palmer has been charged with possession of heroin, dealing in heroin, and possession of paraphernalia.
