COLUMBUS, Ind. — Five local organizations have received grants totaling $90,000 from the Heritage Fund-The Community Foundation of Bartholomew County.
The Atterbury-Bakalar Air Museum will get a $20,000 grant to construct a building to store artifacts, restore items and build displays. The Bartholomew County Historical Society will receive $30,000 for repairs to the Henry Breeding Farm. Dyslexia Institute of Indiana is awarded $20,000 to fund scholarships for students attending Camp Delafield, a four-week camp for youths battling dyslexia. Foundation for Youth will receive $10,000 to purchase new customer relations software. And, Ivy Tech Foundation will get $10,350 to implement a suicide prevention program called Hope Squad.
