EDINBURGH, Ind. — Four Indianapolis men are facing charges after illegally hunting deer in the Atterbury Fish and Wildlife Area.
Za Hmun, 29, Peter Linn, 25, Tawk Hmung, 31, and Tei Ling, 30, are accused of illegally taking a deer and hunting from the roadway. According to police reports, Tuesday evening the group was caught killing two deer and they were presumably looking for more. Hunting with a permit is allowed on the preserve, but deer season ended on January 1.
A security guard heard the shots and notified police.
