COLUMBUS, Ind. — Cummins Inc. has announced two promotions.
Carole Casto has been promoted to vice president of communications, a newly created position. Casto will craft the company’s global communication strategy, executive speech writing, crisis communications, digital, visual and internal communications and media relations. Since 2012 Casto has served as the director of corporate communications. Casto has been credited with introducing advanced digital technologies to improve internal communications and created the first Cummins Woman Conference.
Mahesh Narang has been appointed vice president of Cummins Turbo Technologies. This portion of the business designs and manufactures turbochargers and related equipment on a global scale for diesel engines above three liters. Narang joined Cummins in 2002 as an MBA intern. He most recently served as the leader of the Industrial Engine Business in India.
