COLUMBUS, Ind. — Bartholomew County School Corporation officials say a student at North High School was taken into custody at the school after an altercation Friday around noon.
The school resource officer report indicates a female student became unruly and hit another student several times. The report continued to say the student fled the room, ignored commands from school staff, and then grabbed a pair of scissors. The school resource officer was able to defuse the situation, and no injuries were reported.
