DELPHI, Ind. — Multiple agencies continue to search for tips and clues that will lead them to the killer of two teenage girls from Delphi. The bodies of Abby Williams, 13, and Libby German, 14, were found on February 14 along the Monon High Bridge Trail.
Investigators say they have received more than 10,000 tips from all over the country. Residents, businesses, celebrities and local churches have now amassed $219,000 in reward money, and the fund is still growing.
Libby German started the video recorder on her cell phone and was able to capture an image of the suspect, along with his voice. Police have praised the victim for having the presence of mind to capture the important information.
Police confidently assert they are close to solving the case. Investigators say every lead that is processed gets the investigation nearer to an arrest.
