COLUMBUS, Ind. — Developmental Services, Inc. raised about $20,000 as a result of the 9th Annual D-Vine Wine and Beer Fest this past weekend in Columbus. The proceeds will be used to improve the quality of life for disabled residents served by the organization.
DSI chief development officer, Amy Kleinert says, “It’s great to see our community come together for some tasting and to support a good cause. I’d like to give special thanks to our sponsors and volunteers. We couldn’t have this event without them.”
About 750 people, some from as far away as St. Louis, Missouri, attended the event held at the Commons. More than 20 wineries, distilleries and breweries provided tastings of locally produced spirits.
