COLUMBUS, Ind. — The working face or back side of the Bartholomew County Landfill will close at 1 p.m. on Saturdays, beginning April 1. The reason for the closure is to allow Rumpke workers to be more productive during Saturday shifts. No industrial or commercial loads will be accepted after 1 p.m. on Saturdays, starting April 1.
The small load area near the scale house will be open on Saturdays from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
