DELPHI, Ind. — One month after the murder of two Delphi teens police say they have several people of interest. State, local and federal agents have sifted through thousands of tips looking to make an arrest. Investigators say they are still searching for more information to help solve the case. Investigators are working to narrow their focus as tips are eliminated. The best evidence police are working with is DNA, a picture, and audio recording of the suspect provided by one of the victims.
There have been about 70 search warrants and subpoenas served. Also, there have been status checks on several known sex offenders, plus numerous interviews and polygraph examinations have been performed.
Reward for information leading to an arrest has reached $200,000. The tip line number is 844-459-5786.
