JONESVILLE, Ind. — One person was arrested following a hit-and-run accident Sunday evening at 10:45.
Columbus Police Lt. Matt Harris says the investigation started in the 1600 block of Lafayette Avenue where witnesses told police the suspect hit a car and fled south on Jonesville Road. Police intercepted a car with heavy front-end damage driven by Cole Law, 30, in the 700 block of Jonesville Road. Official reports say that during the stop police located marijuana and paraphernalia.
Law was taken into custody and charged with leaving the scene of a property damage accident, operating a vehicle while intoxicated, possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia.
